One of the many accidents in Sioux City this morning involved a woman being hit by a bus.It happened about 8:30 a.m. at the corner of 5th Avenue and South Cedar Street in the Morningside neighborhood.Police said the Siouxland Regional Transit Bus was turning onto 5th avenue when it struck the woman as she crossed the street.She was taken to Mercy Medical Center with what police said appear to be non-life threatening injuries.Police estimate the bus was traveling about ten miles per hour. Police say texting and driving is to blame for an accident Tuesday afternoon in Sioux City.It happened near the corner of 27th and Rebecca Street. Officers say the man, in his 20s, hit a curb and hit a tree, tipping the car on its roof.
