We have had a strong and steady wind from the northwest gusting up to 30 miles per hour for much of the day and it will decrease some tonight. Despite the windy conditions, I must say it is a pretty nice day for the last week of July. Temperatures today topped out in the 70s and lower 80s under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. We also have little humidity with these temperatures which is a nice bonus. Tonight the overnight low will drop into the 50s and 60s under clear skies. We will start this work week off better than last week. I am sure we all remember the hot and humid 90s with heat indices in the triple digits. This week, it will be much nicer. It will stay on the mild side as temperature top out in the 70s and lower 80s. We bring in a slight chance of isolated afternoon showers for Monday otherwise the next best chance of thunderstorms will be a slight chance on Thursday and Friday.
