
DENISON, Iowa (KTIV) - The collision of a car and a semi in thick fog this morning south of Denison has claimed the life of a Hornick, Iowa woman.
The Iowa State Patrol identifies the victim as 52-year-old Sandra Rogers.
Authorities say she was driving a car and ran a stop sign at the intersection of Highways 59 and 141.
Her car was struck by the semi driven by Donald Benton of Sac City.
Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in her car, 32-year old Aaron Clark of Hornick, was taken to an Omaha hospital.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
