OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - The 16-year-old daughter of an Omaha man is among the eight people charged in his murder.
Sara Carson has been charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder and accessory to a felony in the death of 45-year-old Brian Carson.
Omaha police announced Thursday that Sara Carson was charged as an adult.
Carson's wife, 41-year-old Teresa Carson, and his 19-year-old son, Ryan Carson, are among the others charged in the case. Only Ryan Carson faces a murder charge.
Brian Carson was found dead April 5 in the trunk of his car that was left in a farm field.
Authorities say police found the car after they found evidence of an assault at Carson's home in the Elkhorn neighborhood.
