19-year-old killed in car accident near Boyden, Iowa

BOYDEN, Iowa (KTIV) - A 19-year-old Sac City, Iowa man died in the head-on collision of a sports car and a semi.

It happened about 7:30 Monday night on U.S. Highway 18, just east of Boyden.

The Sioux County Sheriff's Office says Patrick Duffy was killed when the Camaro he was driving veered into the path of an oncoming semi.

Duffy was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was treated for minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
