WASHINGTON, Iowa, (AP) - The Iowa State Patrol says two people died and five others were injured after a three-vehicle pileup near Washington.
The two killed in the Saturday afternoon accident have been identified as 30-year-old Samuel Langstaff and 29-year-old Jacqueline Langstaff, both of Indianola.
Officers say a pickup truck driven by 17-year-old Andrew Brock of Washington allegedly ran a stop sign and crashed into the Langstaffs' SUV.
The Langstaffs' vehicle was then struck by a truck driven by 26-year-old Jared Freel of North Liberty.
Brock and Freel were also injured in the crash along with 15-year-old Spencer Miller and 16-year-old David Haifley, both of Washington, and 19-year-old Travis Filben of Keota.
