MCLAUGHLIN, S.D. (AP) - Flooding along the Grand River in far north-central South Dakota has eased some, but an elderly couple hasn't left the ranch for two months.
Water still runs over the crossing that leads to Sam and Anna Belle Mortenson's place.
They say they're both healthy, have had enough food and receive fresh supplies from family and friends on horseback and four-wheeler.
Sam Mortenson says he hasn't had a reason to get out.
Anna Belle Mortenson says they've missed church for at least eight weeks, which is unusual for them. On Easter Sunday they pulled out an old tape of Billy Graham preaching and had their own service.
