MACY, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska State Patrol says a 23-year-old driver was killed this morning after she lost control over her van in northeast Nebraska.
The crash occurred around 5 a.m. north of Macy.
The patrol says Ashley Grant was driving south with two other people in her 1999 Ford Windstar when she lost control and the vehicle rolled.
Her passengers, 19-year-old Jaren Thomas and 5-year-old Marica Grant, received minor injuries.
Ashley Grant and Thomas were not wearing seat belts. The State Patrol has not determined whether the little girl was in a seat restraint.
