VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) - The head of the Division of General Pediatrics for the University of South Dakota Medical School has been given a national teaching award.
Dr. Joseph Zenel was given the 2009 American Academy of Pediatrics Education Award.
Medical school officials say Zenel was recruited from Oregon last fall and that he has held many regional and national leadership roles in pediatrics.
