
KNOX COUNTY, Neb. (KTIV) - The Creighton, Nebraska man, who took off with his wife and kids after domestic abuse questions by police, has now been charged with "possession of a firearm by a felon."
A special prosecutor for Knox County, Nebraska, filed the complaint against Matthew Schade.
Thursday, Schade was in court for the first hearing on the felony charges. He was appointed a public defender and requested a preliminary hearing.
That hearing is set for July 2.
