LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Westbound traffic on Interstate 80 could be slowed by construction to replace bridge girders in Lincoln.
The girders being replaced are on an interstate bridge at the U.S. Highway 77 interchange in east Lincoln. The Nebraska Department of Roads says the work begins Monday and continues into Tuesday.
The interchange will be closed in both the north and southbound directions between 11 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday. Both directions of I-80 will remain open during the operation.
Motorists are urged to watch for directional signs and to drive safely.
