OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Omaha police say three workers were injured, but are expected to survive after the boom on their truck touched a live electrical wire.
Forty-6-year-old Ron Weaver of Council Bluffs, Iowa, suffered serious burns in the incident that occurred just before 9 a.m. Monday. He's been taken to a hospital, but police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The two other workers were treated at the scene.
The men were working for Midwest Glass and Glazing on the Creighton University campus just north of downtown when they were injured.
