LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Two men found guilty for their roles in a fatal drive-by shooting in Lincoln have been sentenced to prison.
Twenty-6-year-old Anthony Riley was sentenced to 44 to 65 years in prison. A jury had found him guilty of manslaughter and three counts of attempted murder for his part in the 2006 shooting.
Wednesday's sentencing came a day after 23-year-old O'Dari Wiley was sentenced to 20 years for unlawful discharge of a firearm into an occupied vehicle. He had pleaded guilty in May.
Wiley said he was driving as they chased a car they believed held men they'd fought with outside a downtown Lincoln club. Prosecutors said when they caught up with it, Riley shot into the car, killing Doyle Bryant III and hitting two others. A fourth man in the car was not hit.
