
ALBERT CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Kids playing with fire, and fireworks, are responsible for starting a fire that nearly destroyed a northwest Iowa home.
The fire started at about seven o'clock, Sunday night, inside an attached garage at 406 North Third Street, in Albert City, Iowa.
By the time firefighters got there, the blaze had spread to the house, and done serious damage. The house is considered a total loss. Luckily, no one was hurt.
Because the kids, who started the fire are 5 and 7-years-old,. no charges will be filed.
