YORK, Neb. (AP) - Three people died and another was injured when a car struck a train east of York in east-central Nebraska.
The York County Attorney's Office said in a news release that a vehicle was traveling south on a road between Utica and Waco just after 8 a.m. when it struck a train going west a half mile south of where state Highway 69 intersects with U.S. Highway 34.
The victims' names were not available pending family notification.
The medical condition of the survivor was not released.
York County Sheriff Dale Radcliff did not immediately return phone messages left by The Associated Press.
