
REMBRANDT, Iowa (KTIV) - Authorities have released the name of a child killed in a head-on collision near Rembrandt, Iowa Sunday evening.
He's identified as 10-year old Gavin Wrather, of Orange City.
The boy was a front-seat passenger in a car driven by his father, 40-year-old Matthew Wrather, of Rembrandt.
Their car collided with an oncoming van on Highway 71.
The child was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Matthew Wrather and the van driver, 44-year-old Anthony Borkovec, of Ruthven, both suffered serious injuries in the crash
