CHARLES CITY, Iowa (AP) - Two Charles City teens have been arrested for allegedly making pop bottle bombs found at a local elementary school.
Police have not released the names of the teens, ages 14 and 15.
The teens were charged with possession of an explosive device.
Police say 10 pop bottle bombs have been found on the grounds of Washington Elementary School in the past two weeks.
4 of the bottles exploded, spraying acid and chemicals.
No injuries have been reported.
The teens were taken into custody Thursday night and are being held at the Black Hawk County Juvenile Detention Center.
