YANKTON, S.D. (AP) - A man is dead following a two-vehicle crash about two miles west of Yankton.
The Yankton County Sheriff's Office says 59-year-old David Dale Pederson of Yankton died at a local hospital following a Saturday evening crash on state Highway 52.
A news release from the sheriff's office says Pederson, who was riding a motorcycle, was struck by a pickup truck that was northbound on an intersecting road. Authorities say the pickup driver's view was blocked by another vehicle.
The driver of the pickup, 26-year-old Jon Randall Porter of Tabor, was cited for a stop sign violation.
The Yankton County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
