PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. (AP) - A man wanted for burglary in Colorado has been arrested and accused of threatening a Nebraska sheriff's deputy with a knife.
A report of a disturbance called the Cass County deputy to an Alvo home Saturday night. There, he found 21-year-old Andrew Stratton. A further check revealed Stratton had an active warrant in Colorado. The deputy said when he tried to arrest him, Stratton threatened him with a knife.
He was able to subdue Stratton, who was booked in the Cass County jail on suspicion of resisting arrest, use of a deadly weapon, being a fugitive from justice and making terroristic threats.
