MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) - An unexpected gain in enrollment is putting the squeeze on dormitory housing at Dakota Wesleyan University.
Freshmen and sophomores generally are required to live on campus, as are certain scholarship recipients.
Traditional dorm capacity on campus is 365; so far, university officials have found room for 383 students.
Vice President for University Relations Lori Essig said the private school is exploring the availability of rooms or apartments off campus if needed.
