ACKLEY, Iowa (AP) - An autopsy has been scheduled for a 27-year-old man who was found on fire behind a grocery store in the northern Iowa town of Ackley.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety says an autopsy will be conducted Thursday for 27-year-old Derek Harrop-Miller.
Harrop-Miller was found on fire Tuesday afternoon behind the Ackley Super Foods.
Investigators announced Thursday that he died about an hour after he arrived at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Authorities are investigating whether Harrop-Miller's death is related to a fire in a garage near the grocery store.
Public Safety spokeswoman Jessica Lown says investigators are working on how the fire started and how Harrop-Miller caught on fire.
