ROLFE, Iowa (KTIV) - Two Fort Dodge men face a laundry list of charges.
The Pocahontas County Sheriff says 19-year-old Kyle Martin and 18-year-old Colton Canavan came to the door of a Rolfe, Iowa, man's home early Monday morning saying their car broke down, and they had to use the telephone.
One suspect kept the man busy while the other took cash and various antiques from the man's bedroom.
The sheriff says the pair tried the same scheme at another home in Rolfe.
Both men face numerous charges, including 2nd-degree burglary of an occupied residence, and 4 counts each of burglary of an unoccupied vehicle.
