DENISON, Iowa (KTIV) -- There's a delay in the case of a Denison, Iowa man charged with murder.
Luis Angel Trujillo-Mendez, 20, was expected to enter a plea in Crawford County Court, but that has been postponed for two weeks while he chooses a lawyer.
Mendez is charged with the shooting death of 27-year-old Lorenzo Nambo Garcia. Garcia's body was found in a ditch near Dow City, in January.
Authorities say a search of Mendez's home, in Denison, turned up a gun and ammunition matching Garcia's gunshot wounds, along with Garcia's wallet.
