WAYNE, Neb. (AP) -- Omaha television station KETV says family members of a student found dead on a Nebraska college campus are blaming complications from anorexia for her death.
Police say there were no signs of suicide or that drugs or alcohol were involved in the death of 19-year-old Hilary Pile of Norfolk. Her body was found Saturday in a Wayne State College dormitory that carried her family name.
Authorities are awaiting results from an autopsy.
KETV reports that Pile's family says she had battled anorexia for years. Family members say Pile was valedictorian of her high school class and a premed student. This was her first semester at Wayne State; she attended Creighton University last year.
Services are set for Thursday in Norfolk.
