HINTON, Iowa (KTIV) - Harvest is a busy time, and not a good time for a fire. Crews are cleaning up after a fire at the Farmer's Co-op in Hinton, Iowa Wednesday afternoon. Smoke could be seen coming from one of the stacks at one point. It's believed the fire was in one of the grain dryers, but authorities aren't saying much about what happened. First responders from Hinton, Merrill, and Le Mars responded. The fire started at about 3:15pm. No word yet on what caused the fire. The elevator has another dryer and will continue business as usual.
