
NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) -- People are already getting into the holiday spirit in Norfolk, Nebraska. The Ninth Annual Festival of Trees is going on at Northeast Community College.
You'll find a wide variety of Christmas trees, decorating ideas, music from area choirs, and a whole lot of sweet treats, like cheesecakes and carrot cake.
"It just shows some of the excitement of the holidays. Now that can be anything from the variety of trees that are decorated that are both private pieces or public pieces we have a lot of retailers who come in and share display the latest and greatest of the year so if you're looking for those holiday ideas that you're not quite sure what your going to do this year? This is prime," says organizer Misty Wortman.
The event is sponsored by the American Association For Women In Community Colleges with all the proceeds going for scholarships and campus projects.
