Associated Press - November 15, 2009 9:15 AM ET

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Foreign nationals wanting to participate in the U.S. State Department's visa lottery will find some free help at the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Law students will be available Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. to help with verifying eligibility and filling out the online application form.

The annual lottery offers foreign nationals whose home country is underrepresented in the U.S. population a chance at permanent residency.

The College of Law's Immigration Clinic for several years has hosted a free clinic to help with the applications.

For more information, call the clinic at 402-472-3271.
