BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - An engineering minor has been approved for South Dakota State University, and educators say it will broaden engineering students' knowledge while making them more attractive to potential employers.
The 18-hour minor, through SDSU's College of Engineering, includes an internship.
Associate Professor of Physics Robert McTaggart says the nuclear engineering minor would also be attractive in the areas of health physics, medical physics, homeland security, nuclear forensics, nuclear medicine and several other areas.
