RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Pine Ridge man who prosecutors say was part of a drug ring on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Twenty-6-year-old Brandon Ecoffey (EHK'-ah-fee) had pleaded guilty in June to conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
Federal prosecutors said eight people were involved in bringing drugs from Denver to the Pine Ridge Reservation. Sentenced earlier were six others who pleaded guilty and a seventh who was convicted at trial.
