NORTH SIOUX CITY, S. D. (KTIV) -- Police officers in North Sioux City, South Dakota have a new headquarters.
The ribbon cutting took place Monday morning. It's located behind city hall and much bigger than the old one.
The building is 8,000 square feet, with plenty of storage areas and a garage for squad cars.
Police Chief Jody Frye says, "It actually gives us a lot more room to work, and store records, and things like that."
The new facility also features state of the art technology. The old building was about 40 years old and Frye says it needed a lot of maintenance and up keep.
