PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - Bond has been set at $15,000 cash for an Eagle Butte man accused of firing a pistol in the parking lot of a Fort Pierre bar early on Thanksgiving.
Patrick Azeh Ngufor (NEW'-for) is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct. He is due back in court Dec. 14.
Court documents say officers went to the Hop Scotch Bar after receiving a 911 call from a man who said he was going to shoot someone, and a deputy found a .38-caliber gun in Ngufor's pocket that had five live rounds in the chamber and one empty round.
Stanley County Sheriff Brad Rathbun says no one was hurt in the incident and there was no property damage.
