SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A federal grand jury has indicted a Dewey County woman for involuntary manslaughter in the September traffic death of an 18-year-old Green Grass woman.
Authorities say a van driven by 48-year-old Rita Miner of Ridgeview struck and killed a pedestrian, Raylene Briggs, at 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 25 about three miles east of Eagle Butte.
The indictment alleges Miner was operating the vehicle in a "grossly negligent manner."
