SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- Several agencies that fight hunger in Siouxland got some help in the form of money to help in their efforts.
The Salvation Army, Food Bank of Siouxland and Cardinal Baskets Food Drive of South Sioux City were given a $33,000 check Friday afternoon.
In a press release from the Salvation Army, the donation is described as part of Cargill's Nourishing People program, a broad hunger relief effort that Cargill began last year.
