LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Police are investigating after a man said two masked men broke into a Lincoln apartment, tied him up, kicked him and robbed him.
Police spokeswoman Katie Flood said the alleged crime occurred Sunday night shortly before 11:30.
She said the 22-year-old victim was ordered at gunpoint to a back room where his eyes were covered with duct tape and his hands bound with plastic zip ties.
A police report says the victim was kicked in the head and the men took $300 from his pocket before leaving.
Flood said it appeared the two men were looking for the victim's girlfriend, who lives at the apartment, but wasn't home.
