LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Agricultural and ecology-based tourism will be discussed and taught during a 2-day workshop in Kearney.
Scheduled for Feb. 3-4, the 2010 Governor's Agri/Eco-Tourism Workshop will offer people in the Nebraska tourism industry opportunities to network, learn and promote businesses.
It is sponsored by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development's Travel and Tourism Division, the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture.
Sessions during the 2-day conference will include business startup basics, social networking, a meet-the-media panel, nature and wildlife viewing and group-tour basics.
