SIOUX CITY, IA -- Folks in Sioux City will get a chance to look at a historical airplane this week.
The B-17 bomber airplane landed at Sioux City's Sioux Gateway Airport around noon.
There are only a handful of these World War Two bombers in the world, according to the company's web site.
Friday and Saturday you can go and see it from nine until six.
The cost for tours is five dollars for adults and three dollars for kids ages 5 to 12.
Children under five are free.
It's a World War 2 vintage bomber airplane that didn't actually get to take a flight in Germany, because it was made toward the end of the war.
This plane did take flights in the Pacific but never made it to combat.
There were about 12-thousand B-17 airplanes made back in World War 2, however 10 remain restored today.
The plane will be on exhibit at the MidAmerica Museum of Aviation and Transportation.
Flight tours are available as well.
NewsChannel Four's Katie Gannon will be on a flight tomorrow morning.
We will let you know how it goes.
