School District rejects bond issue for funding new elementary

WISNER, Neb. (KTIV)--Voters in a northeast Nebraska school district have rejected a bond issue to pay for a new elementary school.

It was a nearly $6 million issue on the ballot for people in the Wisner-Pilger School District.

It wasn't even close at the polls. The measure was defeated by a vote of 626 against it to just 257 people in favor.
