WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A Waterloo man convicted in the murder of a Parkersburg man is scheduled to be sentenced Friday.

Montez Caples was convicted of killing Robert Shannon of Parkersburg in December 2011. Police say they found Shannon's body in his car in a Waterloo neighborhood.

Caples is scheduled to be sentenced in a Black Hawk County Courtroom at 11:30 a.m.
