    Raised in Eureka, South Dakota, I grew up a small town girl, living my first 18 years in the same house, and loving it.  I spent my summers swimming at the local lake, and my winters playing in the snow

    I call Manilla, Iowa my hometown.  I grew up on a farm there, but in my younger years, I also lived in Houston, Los Angeles and New Orleans as my father's job kept us moving around the country.
