SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Two of the three Republicans running for governor of Iowa have committed to a debate, in April, at the KTIV studios.
Tuesday, former governor Terry Branstad, and Sioux City businessman Bob Vander Plaats, both announced they'll attend the hour-long debate, which will be recorded at KTIV on April 7th, and be broadcast before the GOP primary, in June.
KTIV's debate is one of three Branstad has committed to, but its the first televised debate.
Vander Plaats wanted a total of four debates.
There's no word whether Representative Rod Roberts will commit to one, or any, of the debates.
