Dick Kaufman spoke about his experiences in the war and why it's so important for students to hear the story.
The 185th Air Refueling Wing presented the flags of our nation's history and explained what each fold of the flag meant.
The assembly concluded with the playing of 'Taps' and the meaning behind the song.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- To kick off a week of remembering our veteran's, East Middle School held a special assembly.
