HARTLEY, Iowa (KTIV) - Monday, officials for the parent company of a Hartley, Iowa ethanol plant will appear in court, to file for bankruptcy protection.
VeraSun says it is working with lenders and expected to reach an agreement on additional financing to fund normal operations before Today's court hearing.
The Sioux Falls based company says it plans to resume operations during the Chapter 11 proceedings, and it doesn't expect to reduce raw material purchases.
