SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Nebraska (KTIV) -- A local salon is vandalized for the second time in two months.
Authorities say someone broke into the Green Tea Salon in South Sioux City, Nebraska late Sunday night or early Monday morning.
Salon owner, Kim Taylor, says she received a call from a neighboring business on Monday morning that water was flowing from Green Tea. Not only had her salon been flooded, but the suspect also stole and damaged other items. Luckily, the vandals didn't get away with $200 Taylor says she accidentally left out over night.
"I feel very sad and angry too because they want to destroy my business. I don't know what they want here. They don't take money and that's the second time in two months," Taylor said.
Authorities say this time, there were no signs of forced entry. But when the Green Tea Salon was vandalized this spring, police say the culprits got in by hiding in the neighboring Tan World and breaking down the walls between the two businesses.
The strip mall owner is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest of the person or persons involved. You can call (404) 421-4949. Calls are confidential.
