South Sioux City, NE (KTIV) - The Nebraska State Patrol and South Sioux police were on the lookout Wednesday, conducting surprise inspections on commercial vehicles.
Authorities handed out a total of $2,500 dollars in fines Wednesday.
Officials performed 76 inspections throughout South Sioux City.
In all, 22 vehicles were taken out of service because of problems with brakes or tires.
