SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- The city of Sioux City is looking for people who have ideas to increase the availability of affordable housing.
The city has about $540,000 in HOME funds to distribute. The money is to expand affordable housing for low income families as well as increase capacity of non-profit housing providers.
"Prime Living in downtown was a recipient of home funds. Another most recent project that received HOME funds was Habitat for Humanity for their Riverside project to provide affordable housing units,' said Jeff Hanson of Planning and Neighborhood Services.
