Caring for Kids Radiothon started Wednesday

Sioux City, IOWA (KTIV) - You can help a child right here in Siouxland by donating a gift of money to the St. Luke's Children's Miracle Network.

KG-95, Z-98 and Kiss 107 F-M are helping in the effort by broadcasting live from the St. Luke's Atrium for the Caring for Kids Radiothon.

All three stations went on air this morning at 6 a-m and will broadcast stories of children whose lives have been touched through the Children's Miracle Network dollars.

They will be live until 6 p-m for the next two days.

You can call in pledges, stop by the atrium or go online and give.

"We all work so we can enhance pediatric healthcare. And so the funds that are donated here in Siouxland, stay here in Siouxland so we can give money back to the hospital in order for them to purchase new equipment, do education training or it could even be the family assistance program that we have at St. Lukes to help families out ," said Megan Meyer, CMN Coordinator.

The Caring for Kids Radiothon will continue until 6 p-m on Friday.
