"Brothers" opens in theaters. Mark Barger previews that and other new releases

UNDATED (KTIV) -- Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal star as sibling rivals in the drama, "Brothers".

Maguire plays a family man Marine presumed dead in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

Gyllenhaal is his ne'er-do-well brother back home who steps up to help out Maguire's family.

That also draws him closer to Maguire's wife played by Natalie Portman.

When it turns out that Maguire is very much alive, having survived imprisonment by the Taliban, he returns a different man to a very different home.

"Brothers" is rated R.

George Clooney plays a corporate downsizer who sees his own road warrior lifestyle on the chopping block in "Up In The Air".

Clooney takes a young downsizing novice on the road to prove the value of the personal touch in trimming employees.

That's as Clooney's romancing another frequent flyer female, played by Vera Farmiga, who may be the woman of his dreams.

"Up In The Air" is rated R.

Robert Deniro plays a road warrior on a different sort of mission in "Everybody's Fine".

He plays a widower who hits the road on the spur of the moment to reconnect with each of his three grown children.

He finds out that for each of them, real life is much different from the

picture he'd been painted.

Drew Barrymore costars, along with Kate Beckinsale.

"Everybody's Fine" is rated PG-13.

An armored security truck is the target of crooks who happen to be the same ones who are supposed to protect it in "Armored".

Matt Dillon stars, along with Laurence Fishburne, in the story of

what seemed to be a fool proof scheme.

That is, until an unexpected witness interferes, and the plan quickly unravels.

"Armored" is rated PG-13.
