The Sioux City Musketeers serve dinner for charity
Sioux City, IOWA (KTIV) - Normally you see the Sioux City Musketeers skating around on the ice but Thursday night the players were serving dinner on it at the Tyson Events Center.
Over 300 people came out for games, autographs and dinner for the 12th Annual Applebee's Face Off Charity Fundraising Event.
The proceeds from Thursday's event benefit the Boys and Girls Home and Family Services.
"Over the last 12-years it has raised over $280,000 for Boys and Girls Home and Family Services. All of the programs are for some of the most at risk children and families in Siouxland so it goes to a great cause," said Kim Friessen, Boys and Girls Home and Family Services Inc.
There were also auction items for people to bid on live and a silent auction will continue at Friday and Saturday night's hockey games.
