SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- A downtown Sioux City street is getting a facelift.
Construction is expected to begin in June on Pearl Street, between 5th and 7th Streets.
The city is will be planting trees, building benches and putting in colored crosswalks in the West End District. Streetscaping and road work will also be done on intersections.
The city says it'll be working closely with property owners during the construction.
The project is estimated to cost $2 million.
