SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- The latest deadline has come, and gone, for Terra shareholders to tender their shares to C-F Industries. The deadline passed at 5:00, Wednesday night.
That's actually the deadline on the first extension of CF's offer to Terra shareholders. The hope is that CF can get 90% of shareholders to tender their Terra shares to close the nearly five-billion dollar deal.
On Monday, 87.5% of shareholders had agreed to CF's offer, now worth about $47.50 a share.
No word what will happen if CF falls short of the 90% mark, again.
